| Soft Reset, chain, find them RANDOMLY, breeding for them (masuda method.)
There are guides for SRing, breeding, and chaining. Google is your friend. Because there are like, a million guides for each and some help others more than other guides do.

| how many times do you have to soft reset? I tried 30+ times for a drifloon.
I heard it takes thousands to get shiny legends, so...
The most I've chained was 8. Not a pleasant experience orz

The most I've chained was 8. Not a pleasant experience orz It took me two days of SRing for Giratina. I got a shiny Mareep at 8 - Which was pure luck. Again, guides. There's a trick to chaining that I REALLY can not explain. xD You'll have to look it up. There is also RNG breeding and Masuda Method breeding.

| SRing can take anywhere from 1 SR to 30,000 SRs. That's what I've heard. I'll find a chaining guide, or I can write one up for you. XD Also, Masuda Method is great. Take a Pokemon from a different language game and breed it with a Pokemon from your own game to have a much better chance of hatching a shiny. Or, you could always just search in grassy areas and water all day for shinies. XD | |
