Well, the forum's mascot is every Dark/Ghost Pokemon together mainly to make the amount of pokemon usable on banners wider.

However, often season-specific pokemon can be used on banners at different times of year.

yes, flower-like / related (bugs) pokemon in the spring/summer? Winter / snow / ice pokemon in the winter?

If I could make a suggestion, what about Darkrai or Giratina-O (now hear me out on the last one! XD )? Darkrai, because he's known mainly for his nightmares, which would make someone's dream world "torn" in that way. Giratina-O would be because he guards the Distortion World (which is why I specified Origin Form, and not Altered Form), and one could say a distorted world is a "torn" world.
