Frustrating and happy moments in Pokemon

When playing Pokemon, what sort of happy and frustrating moments have you had?
For me:

Frustrating- I was playing through my Crystal which doesn't save, so I kept my SP on and charging. The first attempt failed when my sister took Crystal out of the SP. The next time, I made it to the 4th gym and dropped the SP. The final time, my cat knocked it off the table. :B

Happy- Discovering that none of my RL friends can beat me in battles.

Frustrating: SRing for shiny Pokemon. P:<

Happy: Catching a nice shiny Pokemon with a good nature and IV's. 8D

Frustrating: Spending half a year trying to find HM Surf in Sapphire, only to finally find it in the house next to Norman's gym.

Happy: Finding a shiny Bagon in Emerald randomly. P; Also, hatching a shiny Mudkip in Emerald.

Frustrating: Finding a shiny Wingull in the Emerald I shared with my sister then her releasing it. :/

Frustrating: Realizing that when I started a new game on my diamond game, my Blaziken was left in it. (That Blaziken was the same one I had ever since I first got Pokemon Ruby).

Not just a mudkip!
He was my mudkip god! level 1 and able to pwn a level 100 out of pure luck! >:D

happy: 2nd gen, I wasted hours and hours and hours and hours playing silver. Good times!
frustrating: The minute smogon banned garchomp.

Happy: Having Koga's Skuntank in SS use Dig on the same turn that I'm using Earthquake. |D
Frustrating: Realizing that I have to do tons of training to take on Red.

Frustrating: Pretty much.. trying to catch ANY legendary, with no master ball.. Especially when the stupid ball shakes 3 times, making you think that you've got it..

Happy: finally catching it. it's a "oh thank god -_-" feeling
